Encover Names Sherry Paterra to Board of Directors

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., (July 6, 2005) — Encover®, Inc., a leading provider of technology and services to help manufacturers maximize revenues from service contracts, today announced the appointment of Sherry Paterra to Encover's board of directors. Paterra joins existing board members Pete Solvik, former CIO of Cisco and general partner at Sigma Capital; Tom Blaisdell, general partner at DCM - Doll Capital Management; Sridhar Krishnan, founder of Encover; and Chip Overstreet, president and CEO of Encover.

Paterra has served as director and strategic advisor to emerging technology and Internet companies such as Siebel Systems, Webline Communications (Cisco), Post Communications, NetIncentives, US Wireless Data and Woman.com. Currently, Paterra specializes in M&A activity in the customer management services segment. Paterra & Iguchi Partners most recently completed the acquisition and merger of 800Support and CybeRep.com, integrating technical support and Internet-based sales and service outsourcing services.

Earlier in her career, Paterra was the founder and CEO of TeleSpectrum, Inc., a global provider of outsourced marketing and sales services. At TeleSpectrum, Paterra was instrumental in designing the IPO roll-up strategy that took the company public, and resulted in TeleSpectrum Worldwide becoming a $400 million services company listed on NASDAQ. Prior to TeleSpectrum, Paterra held senior management positions in sales and marketing with Xerox Corporation, and operational management positions with United Airlines.
